Balanga’s celebration of the migratory birds that winter at its wetland park, held each late February to coincide with National Arts Month.
The Ibong Dayo (“migratory bird”) Festival celebrates the thousands of waterbirds that gather each year at the Balanga City Wetland and Nature Park. It is held annually in late February, coinciding with National Arts Month, with related activities around Plaza Mayor and the city square.
The 12th edition was held on 27 February 2026 at the wetland park; the 13th edition is expected around late February 2027.
It is run by the Balanga City Tourism Office with the Wild Bird Club of the Philippines — follow them for the confirmed date.
